In September of 2007, Glaverbel announced that it had changed its name to AGC Flat Glass Europe, and adopted a new logo,which helped it to align with the AGC Group globally. Glaverbel had a long history of great glassmaking tradition, dating back to creation of the company in 1961, when the merger of the two largest producers of flat glass, “Glaces et Verres” (Glaver S.A.) and “Union des Verreries Mécaniques Belges” (Univerbel S.A.) formed Glaverbel. Now as part of the global AGC, it is even larger.

Hollander Glass Canada stocks many of the clear glass patterns manufactured by AGC. Please note that the sizes indicate the normal size we stock. The manufacturer will often substitute other sizes when necessary due to availability factors. If size is critical for your application, then you must specify this when placing your order. Please also note that most textures from AGC are available in 4mm thickness - a select few are stocked in 3mm and 5mm.
